My thoughts on Whamisa organic flowers eye essence
I received this eye cream due to an Instagram giveaway hosted by the brand. This eye cream is one of their most sold products so I was really looking forward in trying this one out.
The packaging is fine but nothing fancy, but I do feel that the packaging really suites the organic look and the brand. I am really happy that this product comes in a tube and not a jar. I prefer to have all my creams in a tube or pump bottle, since this is way more hygienic than having the product in a jar.
Due to the price of this I would never buy this product myself. I do feel that is really expensive and I usually don’t buy too expensive products, simply because I can’t afford them😊 and I don’t think skincare has to be expensive to be amazing.
The scent is quite strong (I do have a sensitive nose) but it isn’t a very perfumey smell so it doesn’t bother me as much. The smell is herblike, and it really is to be expected from this type of product.
I love that almost everything is organic in this. I do feel that this is the way to go when it comes to skincare and hair care in the long run. So, I am really happy about that. This doesn’t mean that those are the only type of skincare I buy though.
The cream is quite liquid and easy to apply. It does absorb rather quickly but it also depends on how many other products you are using before applying the eye cream. If you bring this on travels, be sure to really secure the lid or the fluid might leak (due to that it is almost watery in consistency). It doesn’t leave any stickiness after absorbed and it won’t affect any eye makeup you put on.
I really can’t say that I think it does magic for my under-eye area and I really don’t expect any eye cream to do magic despite on what they “claim”. If an under eye area is moisturized it will look way better then if it is dry. The lines will simply appear smaller when your skin is happier. If this one helps you then keep on using it. I just don’t think we are supposed to expect miracles from a product no matter the price of it. It still doesn’t mean that I don’t like the product at all. I simply like it as a moisturizing under eye cream. I am getting older, and my wrinkles are getting deeper, that is simply life and gravity😊
For the claims
- rejuvenate and lift under eyes skin: can’t see that
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles: can’t see that
- Banish Puffiness: can’t see that
- Brighten up skin and reduces dark circles: can’t see that
- Nourish the skin around eyes: can’t see that
I have read a few reviews on it and several people have noticed a difference in the darkness and puffiness under the eye and I do feel that if you have that problems this might be amazing for you. I do not suffer from either so that might have something to do about it. There are also several people getting a bad reaction from this (probably due to the fragrance used in it), so if you have sensitive skin I would stay away from it. My skin is not sensitive, but I do have really dry skin.
I give this product 4/7
