How to use an eye primer

Before putting on your eye makeup apply a small amount on the eyelids. Pat the product into the skin.

What is an eye primer

The reasons for using a primer underneath your eye makeup is that the colors will turn out much stronger and they will last you way longer in spite if you have oily eyelids. It acts like glue to the eye lids and evens out the surface of the eyelid, making the shadows blend easily.

My thoughts on the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

This is an amazing product and if you haven’t tried an eye primer before, I would really recommend that you order this one.

It has been a highly recommended product for years and it is really popular.

This product is cheap, will last you a really long time. It has no smell what so ever, which I really prefer. it’s nude in color without any shine of sparkle to it

It comes in a curved bottle and used to have a doe foot applicator. Now it is like a tiny brush, I don’t know if they changed the applicator or what happened. I do prefer a doe shaped applicator.

on the left with primer, on the right, without primer it is a huge different i color

I would prefer a straight bottle instead of the curved one. Only due to that it is really difficult getting the last product out, unless you open it up.

It dries really quickly and leaves no sticky feeling. Many people say it is a dupe for Urban Decays primer potion, but I really can’t say, because I haven’t tried the urban decay one.

In daylight, to the left with primer and to the right without primer

A primer is not only for people using strong colored eye shadows, but also browns and pale colors turns out more vivid. You only need a tiny amount and it blends very easily.

I give this product 7/7
