6 Amazing foundations for dry and mature skin

If you have dry or mature (or both) skin you probably experience some difficulties in finding a really nice foundation or BB cream. The struggles might be that the product settles in your lines or clings to dry patches. Or if you have really dry skin like me, you might also experience discomfort in using facial makeup. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a product for you out there it just means that you haven’t found it yet.
The first thing to think about when looking for a new foundation is coverage. Do you really need a full coverage foundation? The only time I think it looks good on people is when you really have a lot to cover up. It can be acne or rosacea, but even then I don’t think it looks that good. Skin is supposed to have texture for it to look natural. But of course it is up to you to choose what you think looks and feels best for your skin. And there is nothing wrong with wearing a full coverage foundation if you feel like it.
How to find that perfect match
Since there is a struggle when you have dry or mature skin I have found that going for light or medium coverage is the simplest way to go. When using a light coverage foundation it seldom settles in fine lines or clings to dry patches making your face look cakey or dry. In stead it is easier to use a light coverage foundation on your face and then add another layer on areas you think you need it.
All foundations I am mentioning down below is buildable and works amazing for both dry and mature skin. There are full reviews on all products except Georgio Armani since I haven’t used it for that long and only have three samples of it (one sample lasts about 3 applications for me). I feel I just don’t have enough product to write a review of it yet. I will probably buy a full sized version of it. But it is really expensive and I always tend to go for cheaper products. So maybe in the future.
