My thoughts on Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic
I received this in one of my Glossyboxes. The brand is completely new to me and I did not know anything about it before trying it out.
The cream comes in a regular tube and that is what I prefer due to hygienic reasons. If you have a product in a jar which a lot of high end brands do, it is really important to add some kind of spatula with the product. Mostly this is not the case, and I truly don’t know why. If you have sensitive or acne prone skin it is even more important not to dip your fingers in a jar over and over again.
The Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic acid and vivifying face and eye night cream is pink in color. It is scented and according to my nose quite strong (but I am sensitive when it comes to scents). It does smell sweet and that doesn’t appeal to me at all. The scent does linger for quite some time as well
The Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic cream is really smooth and absorbs rather quick into my skin. It does not leave any sticky or greasy feeling. I can’t say that it is moisturizing at all on my skin even though it contains hyaluronic acid. I have really dry skin and when I use this I have to add mist during the day to make my skin feel satisfied.
I really don’t like this cream at all and it stings when I apply it. Only for a short time but it still stings. Whenever that happens I always stop using a product since it simply doesn’t feel nice. Skincare to me is supposed to feel great on my skin and if there is a product that act like this I rather stay away.
So instead of using the product on my face I decided to use it as a hand cream instead. A really expensive hand cream but hey, better than throwing it away.
The price of the Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic acid cream is totally ridiculous and I really don’t get why it has to be that expensive. So, because of the price and the effect it had on my skin I really can’t recommend this product.
