Description
Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum is a 5% Niacinamide-based serum that corrects dark spots and improves uneven skin tone. With the help of plant-derived Squalane, this serum retains moisture to keep your skin glowing and healthy.
How to use it
Apply a small amount to entire face after cleansing and toning. Or you can use it only on areas you think you need it. Pat until completely absorbed and apply the rest of your skincare routine.
My thoughts on Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum
When I first started with Korean skincare my main purpose was helping my dry skin. My next goal was to even my skin tone. I have been using different types of brightening products for a really long time and as soon as I stop using them I see a difference on my skin. Whenever using a product you should have realistic expectations. If you are thinking that your skin will look completely even and one toned. Or if you want to get rid of all your hyper pigmentation spot that is just not going to happen. What these types of product does is to even out the problem, not getting rid of them. But they do make a huge difference to your skin if you have these problems. So I really recommend you trying it out.
Packaging
Really love the packaging. It comes in a tube, but with a pump so it is easy to get the right amount out. You can unscrew the pump if you need to as well.
The problems I have with my skin except from dryness is redness and hyper pigmentation. I don’t have any problems with acne scars so I really can’t say if it is effective on those or not. But I do know that Niacinamide is a known ingredient to help lighten the skin from acne scars, redness and hyper pigmentation.
When you use a correcting product you can use it on those areas or on your whole face. I always use it all over since I feel that I need it.
Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum is really lightweight and easy to use. It applies easily, absorbs fast and does not leave any stickiness to my skin.
My skincare routine contains a lot of products, so it is really important that all my products work together. This serum was really easy to incorporating with the rest of my routine without any pilling of products.
This serum doesn’t have added fragrance to it, but it does have a smell to it from the rosemary ingredient. The scent does linger for some time, but it is nothing that bothers me.
When I apply this serum it feels really nice on my skin and I really enjoy using it. I cant say that I see a huge difference on my skin but I trust the ingredients. This is mainly because I have been using brightening products for a really long time and there is only so much you can do. But if I stop using it I see a difference to my skin in just a few weeks.
So if you are not using any brightening products in you skincare routine this is a really nice one to start with.
Conclusion
I really like this serum. It does what it is supposed to and I feel that it is a easy product to start incorporating in my routine.
I give this product 6/7
