My thoughts on Bang beauty eyebrow cream in chocolate brown
When I first received this In one of my August -18 Glossybox I got a wow feeling. The whole product just felt like luxury to me.
The packaging is really lovely, it is a glass container with a good quality lid, which simply makes the product feel good quality.
When I started using this I got really impressed. The brow gel was smooth and applied really nice to my eyebrows. The only problem I really had with it was that I felt the brush was a little too big and I had problems making thinner lines with it. Usually when it comes to brows I never overdo mine. I want them to look natural so I won’t go for the “Instagram look” it just isn’t for me. If you love then just keep on doing it😊.
The color was somewhat a match for me, I recently colored my hair red and wasn’t expecting a perfect match anyhow.
The lasting power is fine as well. My brows look nice during the day and I really don’t have anything negative to say about it.
I was just about to write my review on it, since I used it about 12 times, and I felt that I had enough information to really know what I think. My thoughts completely changed.
The other day I decided to do a final test, mostly to try the brush out again and see if I could add some thinner lines since I had been using it for some time now.
When I opened it up it had dried out. It was impossible to make anything out of it. to be able to get some color I had to dig deeper in the pot and then I got some color out. But it was patchy and crumbled and completely nothing like before. I was so disappointed because I really thought I had found a great product.
This is a typical example to why bloggers and people who recommend products really should test the products out before saying anything.
I know a lot of people who try a product out and then call it a review (when it is actually a first impression). You as a reader really should be critical and know that a first review might differ completely to a full review.
For my readers I can only say that if I do a review on a product I do feel that I have tried the product out for some time and when it comes to skincare I always need at least 30 days to do a full review.
This product almost slipped through my fingers and I was about to give it a high grade.
I am not sure why my product dried out. I know a lot of people who liked it (according to glossyboxes website) but I also see a lot of people with the same experience as me. So I don’t know it they called it a hit too soon, or if I just got a bad product.
I give this product 0/7
