My thoughts on Banish Fighter Gel
This is one of those product that when I first got it really didn’t feel that it was anything for me. I am still a little bit confused about it and I am not really sure that it does anything to my skin.
The packaging is a black glass jar. The product doesn’t come with a spatula which I do think every product should. But if you don’t own a spatula, make sure that your hands are clean when dipping in the jar.
Banish fighter gel has a really strong scent. I do have a sensitive nose so it does bother me. It doesn’t bother me as much so I wont use it but it is not far from.
The consistency is really fun. It is a gel like product that turns watery when applied on the skin. The gel absorbs really fast onto my skin without leaving any sticky residue of discomfort.
It is a cooling gel so I would love using this during summer time.
Using this type of product can be a little difficult since it is hard to place what it really is. Always when adding layers of skincare, the simplest way is to think of consistency. If a product has a thick consistency I will use it in the end of my routine. So this gel simply goes before moisturizer and sun screen.
It does help in even my skin tone a little bit, but I haven’t seen any long lasting effects on that. It might be that I haven’t been using the product long enough. I will continue using it and update if my mind changes.
My conclusion
I do feel that this product is a little bit unnecessary in my routine but this is also probably due to that I don’t have any acne scars. It does calm my skin down and it feels nice on my skin when using it.
As for its effects on flaky skin. There is really no way of telling. I use the Banish pumpkin mask which is an exfoliating mask and that product should take care of that part. I haven’t seen any difference in using this one compared to not using it.
I give this product 3/7
