How to use it

Spray on clean face in morning or night to refresh, tone, and moisturize skin.

My thoughts on Banish Vitamin C Beauty Elixir

This is one of those type of products that you can use for a lot of different things. It can be used as a toner, an essence or as a mist during the day. I have been using it mainly as an essence. That is after my toner.

The packaging

It comes in a black glass bottle with a spray cap. I do have a problem with the nozzle itself since it doesn’t tend to spray a very fine mist. If I am supposed to use this over makeup the nozzle is rather crucial. Instead it comes out in larger drops. I feel that this is a common problem on a lot of spray bottles (when it comes to mists) so I rather apply it by spraying in my hands and then patting it into my skin.

Banish Vitamin C Beauty Elixir absorbs really fast into my skin but it doesn’t feel moisturizing at all on me. I have super dry skin and I need a lot more to be able to use this as any type of moisturizing effect. It does leave a tight feeling on my skin which I really don’t like. That feeling disappears after applying the rest of the products.

It doesn’t make my skin feels sticky at all so I do think it absorbs really well. It just increases the feeling of tightness due to dryness on my skin.

This elixir is scented. It has the scent of tea tree so it is rather strong in its scent. The smell doesn’t linger on my skin though.

My conclusions

This is a product I really don’t like using on my skin. I rather use a good vitamin C serum instead of applying this one. Now I use it after toner (since I don’t find that it is moisturizing att all on my skin so I feel that I need that step in between. I did not noticed any difference on my skin but I have been using C vitamin products for a long time so maybe my skin just cant get any better than it already is on that point..

I give this product 1/7
