My thoughts on Banish Vitamin C Cream

I am always in search of a great moisturizer. I have super dry skin so moisture is high up on my list. The other so called problems I have with my skin is that I have hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. And I shouldn’t forget the fine lines as well (if one ever could).

Banish Vitamin C Cream comes in a black glass jar. I really do like the packaging but I miss that they don’t send any spatulas with their products. If you don’t know already, your jars can contain a lot of bacteria and if your skin is acne prone or sensitive it is really important to not dip fingers that aren’t clean in your jar. Also when adding cream to your face and dipping in for more is a big no no. If you don’t own a spatula I really recommend you buying one.

But back to this product.

This is a hydrating moisturizer. It is not enough for my skin, but when I add sunscreen on top my skin is moisturized all day and I don’t feel the need to spray with any mist. This is a big thing to me especially during winter time when my skin screams for moisture.

Banish Vitamin C cream is really thick in consistency and you only need a tiny amount. It does take a little time for it to absorb since it is on the thicker side. But it does not leave any oily or tacky residue on my skin.

It is scented, but it is not overly scented and it is fine even for my sensitive nose.

This cream is one of my favorite products from the Banisher starter kit.

Conclusion

As I have said before when reviewing Vitamin C products it is really hard to tell any difference if one have been using Vitamin C product for a long time. And since I did test this out together with a lot of other products containing vitamin C (from their starter kit) it is impossible to say what exactly did what.

I do feel that vitamin C is an amazing ingredient and I do recommend everyone to use it. But in what form to use it in, is just a preference and for you to try out.

I give this product 6/7
