I have tried a few modeling masks before, and I do feel they are really doing a great job in making my skin feel amazing. This one was no exception.
The packaging is a little difficult to handle and I do prefer when they come in a cup instead (simply makes mixing a little easier.
When opening the packaging there is going to be some spill, but there is enough product to go around anyways so don’t worry if you do spill some.
Esfolio red ginseng essence mask sheet is strongly scented and I usually have a problem with product being really scented. My skin doesn’t react but my nose is really arguing on that point. I do feel that the scent is too strong but the mask itself is really good and I do feel that the quality of the product beats the smell of it.
I prefer applying the NOW Moroccan red clay powder mask with a brush. Leaving it on for about 15 minutes. The mask doesn’t have to dry down until you remove it. Just rinse it off after 15-20 minutes and the mask has done what it is supposed to.
I remember reading a review that someone said that it colored their skin, I have never seen that happen to me though. But be sure to rinse until the mask is completely gone.
When first applying it, it does look a little grey (a common thing with Korean BB creams) after a little while it will oxidize. During summer time I have to blend it out with a darker shade. I usually blend with Missha perfect cover BB cream in nr 31 (which is way too dark for me so I only use to add warmth to my colder shades).
The packaging is really nice, it is a glass bottle with a pipette and it is a great package for a serum. I do prefer a plastic pump bottle. Simply because I use a lot of products and my hands get slippery when I am starting on my serums. And glass bottles and slippery hands is not a good combination.
The hyaluronic acid doesn’t have a scent which is YAY for me. I rather have most of my skincare product without scent or just a mild scent.
