My thoughts on Clinique take the day off makeup remover
I received this in one of my subscription boxes and I was really happy about that since I haven’t tried it before. the prize of this is a little too high compared to a lot of other makeup removers and I don’t enjoy spending more money than I need on products like this. I rather put my money on serums, moisturizers, masks or other products that actually benefit my skin.
The packaging of Clinique take the day off makeup remover is a regular plastic bottle. But I do like the packaging. The opening is large and I do find that to be unusual and I would prefer a smaller opening due to that it is easier to get the right amount out.
The instructions of this makeup remover is that you only apply the product to a cotton pad and then remove. I would not recommend that due to that you need a lot of wiping to get the products off your eyes (especially mascara). If you apply the product to a cotton pad and hold it on your eyes (soaking your lashes) there will be a lot less wiping your eye area (which is really delicate). This method will help with all type of mascara. But it is really great for waterproof mascara, which can be really difficult to remove.
Clinique take the day off makeup remover does a great job in removing my makeup. It deals with waterproof mascara really well (but I do soak the lashes before wiping). It doesn’t sting my eyes either and it leaves no oily film in my eyes.
The makeup remover is easy to use and the only thing I have to say that is not really positive is the prize of it. I do find it expensive compared to other makeup removers and I wouldn’t buy it again.
I give this product 7/7
