My thoughts on COSRX Comfort Ceramide Cream
Moisturizers are one of the most important steps in my skincare routine. My skin is super dry and a good moisturizer can make a huge difference on my skin. But it is not the only steps that counts of course and depending on what I put on underneath also effects how my experience is with the product.
Packaging
The packaging is a regular tube. I like the look of it and it is simple and clean looking. Nothing fancy, just a simple tube that does what it is supposed to.
COSRX Comfort Ceramide Cream white and it is a little bit thicker in consistency, but not so thick that it stands out. The cream is scented but not too heavy and the scent does disappears rather fast. Usually I prefer my skincare to be without scent (but that is not super common). It absorbs rather slow on my skin but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. So if you are stressed in the mornings you might need a little extra time in case you add makeup on top.
The first times I used it I wasn’t impressed and figured that it wasn’t a moisturizer for me. So I stopped using it for some time. Winter came and I decided to try it again and see if I could make up my mind about it.
I often do this when I am conflicted about a product since I really don’t know why I don’t like it. I need to try it together with other products that I know I like so I can determine what I really think about it.
So the first time using this I did not feel that it was very moisturizing at all and I really didn’t feel that it did much on my skin. After not using for a while I changed the toner and added a moisturizing serum and that made the whole difference on how this moisturizer behaved on my skin. From going to nothing special to actually working really well. I do realize that the toner I used before was not amazing for my skin and I think that product made all the difference.
I think that if you have a normal skin type this might even be too much for you during the day, but it could be an amazing evening moisturizer. My skin is so dry that it is ridiculous and I haven’t tried a moisturizer that is too moisturizing yet. If you have oily skin I would not recommend it.
Not a favorite but still a really nice moisturizer
Conclusion
This is not the best moisturizer I have ever tried but it is nice and it is moisturizing on my skin but it also depends on the products I use underneath. So if you are looking for a nice moisturizer this might be amazing for you.
I give this product 4/7
