My thoughts on COSRX Cica Creamy Foam Cleanser
I don’t use foam cleansers daily simply because I have super dry skin and sometimes foaming cleansers are too much for my skin. Instead I use more oil cleansers or just mild cleansers on my skin. If I have been using makeup I always double cleanse. That is first using an oil cleanser and second a foaming cleanser.
At a first glance this COSRX Cica Creamy Foam Cleanser is a really nice cleanser and since I don’t use it on a daily basis at first I didn’t noticed if there were any downsides to it. But since I do need to test the products out completely for being able to tell you my thoughts on it. I started using it on a daily basis for a while.
As a cleanser it foam up really nicely and creates a smooth foam that is easy to use. It doesn’t sting your eyes when using it. But if you are using mascara or any eye makeup, I would recommend that you use an eye makeup remover as a first step.
Packaging
It comes in a nice simple packaging. It is a soft bottle so it is easy to get the right amount.
It is a scented cleanser, but it has a scent of citrus in it so if you are sensitive to that I would recommend looking at another cleanser. It isn’t a super strong scent so it doesn’t annoy me.
So are there any downsides. For me and my skin type absolutely Yes. Since my skin is really dry I don’t look for cleansers that makes my skin feel squeaky clean after using this. This one does. And I feel that is just too strong for me to be using it. It does a great job in cleansing but there are so many other cleansers that does clean once face really well but without leaving that feeling of tight dry skin afterwards.
Conclusion
This is not a cleanser for me. When I used it on a daily basis my skin felt really dry. It does a great job in cleaning the skin but not in a good way for me. If you have a different type of skin than me, this might be nice but if you dry I would absolutely stay away.
I give this product 1/7
