What is a sleeping mask? And how do I use it?

It actually is exactly what it sounds like, a mask that you sleep in and wash off during morning. You use it as your last step in your skincare routine, after your regular facial cream.

It is perfect for all skin types and different mask has different properties. If your skin lacks moisture (not oil) your wrinkles will be more visible and of course we don’t want that. Sleeping masks comes in many price ranges, and I will review some for you. If you are a little lazy and don’t always feel like slapping on a sheet mask or another type of mask, this is perfect cause it does the job whilst you sleep.

A sleeping mask can also be used as a regular mask, but then you apply a larger amount of product, and only leave it on for the time that’s suites you. If your skin is really in need of help, you can use it as a very heavy moisturizer (if your skin can take it that is), you will have to try and see what suites you the best.

When starting with the Korean routine (read about it here)  it can feel really weird slapping on all these products, but is really amazing for the skin and I can’t imagine anyone testing the routine, going back to the old ways. If you are completely new to Korean skincare routine this could be a really good group of products to start with.

My thoughts on the COSRX ultimate nourishing rice overnight spa mask

This is my favorite mask as of now, as I write this, this minute that is. Things can change when you test products all the time. But as of now, you need this, definitely. It is an amazing mask that do all it says it should. I’ve heard so much about this before I tested it out, so I was expecting an amazing product, but this is just wow.

It has no direct scent (which I do prefer) more than cream and it is very easy to apply on the skin. It penetrates rather quickly, depending on what products you are using before this one. I am usually sticky for a long time, since I layer a lot of product on that makes my skin moisturized (I have severely dry skin).

This is a mask that you really need to try many times before you see any difference, and that is usually the thing with all products. Sadly, a lot of people try a sample out and then give a full review, but the truth is that there is actually not so much to say when you only try a product out once. That is more of a first impression post then a review.

The price is really great and I do love my sleeping masks and if you are a little lazy like me, this type of masks is perfect.

It comes in a glass jar that feels a little fancy. Sadly, no spatula comes with the product, but be really sure to use one and don’t dip any fingers in the jar.

COSRX Ultimate nourishing rice overnight spa mask will be a steady product with me, because that is just how great it is

I give this product 7/7
