My thoughts on Dr Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask
I received this in one of my Glossyboxes and I am really a sleeping mask lover so I was looking forward in trying it.
Dr Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask absorbs really fast on my skin and does not leave a sticky feeling on top. The sticky feeling is quite common when it comes to sleeping masks and when this did not leave that feeling I got a little suspicious. Stickiness isn’t something I am looking for in my skincare. But when it comes to sleeping masks and layering products this is to be expected on my skin, especially since I add a lot of moisturizing products. My skin type is super dry in the winter and dry in the summer so I need a lot of moisturizing products to make my skin happy.
It is scented, and more toward citrus then sweet. I would expect it to smell like pomegranate but I really don’t smell it. That smell, of citrus doesn’t last, instead it is replaced by a chemical cream smell after a short time.
Dr Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask has a creamy texture and is white in color. But sadly, it did nothing for my skin. I am used to Korean sleeping masks and have not been disappointed with one of those yet.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about this sleeping masks though, so if you have a more normal skin type it might be amazing for you.
I give this product 1/7
