This product was sent to me, not for review purpose but simply for informing about the brand. But since I have been trying the product for some time now I thought I would do reviews as well.

What is it?

It is a serum that helps with uneven skin tones, melasma, freckles and hyperpigmentation.

How to use it

Use as a regular serum. Start using it once a day and then increase to two times a day. Be sure to use sun screen on top when using it in your morning routine

I do like the packaging. It comes in a blue glass pipette bottle, which is a common type of packaging for this type of product.

My thoughts on Elixir Cosmeceuticals Acticlear Even Tone Serum

Before these products were sent to me (three products from Elixir Cosmeceuticals) I had never heard of the brand. It is a Norwegian brand and I got really curious. Simply because it is close to home (Sweden) and I really do look forward in trying their products out.

I am a regular user of serums. I do follow the Korean skincare routine, which consists of a huge number of steps, serums are the perfect type of product to target certain problems on your skin.

My main problems with my skin is dryness, redness (uneven skin tone) and hyperpigmentation. So, this really is a type of product I would use to help my skin look better.

The serum is light yellow and I use it after my toner. I apply a few drops and pat it into my skin. It absorbs really fast and leaves no stickiness.

The Elixir Cosmeceuticals Acticlear Even Tone Serum is scented. I would prefer it to be without scent but still this one is fresh. It is strongly scented (I am sensitive to smells).

I’ ve been using this serum for about 7 weeks together with another product called Elixir Cosmeceuticals Niactil Advanced Pro. Both of these are working to help with hyperpigmentation and are perfect to use together to fight the problem of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

I really do like this product and it made a huge difference to my skin, both with my hyperpigmentation but also with the redness around my nose and chin. But I do feel that it is way to expensive for my wallet and I would not buy it due to the price tag. If money is not an issue for you I would definitely recommend it. But my search for a cheaper product that does the same magic as this one will continue.
