My thoughts on Elizavecca Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Water Cream
When I first read the description of this I just felt yes, this is for me. And I often tend to find my self disappointed when it comes to descriptions and them matching my skin since I have should learn by now, seldom agrees. But still my hopes are up.
I have really dry skin, and I mean really dry. The only time my skin actually feels comfortable is during summer. And since I live in Sweden that time is a really short time. So I am always on the lookout for a good moisturizer.
Packaging
I just love the packaging of Elizavecca hyaluronic acid water cream. It is just all that to me. It does not come with a spatula which I felt was a little weird actually due to type of packaging. But I am one of those who saves old spatulas so no worries there. If you don’t know the reasons why you should use a spatula it is simply since it is more hygienic without dipping you fingers into the tub. I do prefer tubes for this reasons but still this is just really nice.
I did have some issues with it since it had leaked in spite of there was plastic surrounding the tub itself.
Texture and scent
Elizavecca Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Water Cream texture is really a watery cream. It is matte, white in color and when applying it, it simply turns into its watery texture. But I do have a huge problem with this moisturizer and that is that it is really strongly scented. I have read that a lot of people seem to like the scent, saying it smells fresh. To me it is just the opposite. Super strong and just overwhelming, making it something I really don’t wont to put on my face.
Moisturizing abilities
It is a lightweight moisturizer and I seldom experience this light moisturizer to do much for my skin and the same goes for this one. But bare in mind that my skin is super dry and if you have any other skin type and/or can stand strongly scented products this might work for you.
As soon as I apply it, it turns into a watery texture, but it doesn’t seem to penetrate my skin completely. Instead it leaves a sticky film on top. I really can’t say that I recommend this moisturizer, but all skins are different and it still might work for you.
Conclusion
This is absolutely not for me. It is super strongly scented and did not do much at all when it comes to hydrating my skin either. So nope, not recommended
I give this product 0/7
