My thoughts on Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest Extract 97% B-jo Serum
Serums is one of the easiest way to target certain problems on your skin. Every skin is different and we all have different areas we would like to fix. I don’t mean plastic surgery but more things like, pores, scars, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and so on. Serums are a perfect way to get those areas targeted. I often use several different serums with different targets. For me it is brightening or redness, wrinkle care, and hyperpigmentation. For you it might be totally different. Still you can use the type of serums you prefer for your skin and mix and match. The Korean skincare is just that, layering products on top of each other.
This Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest Extract 97% B-jo Serum is a clear serum that comes in the cutest packaging. Pigs, what can go wrong about a cute pig on a bottle. Simply I had to try this one out. The bottle is made out of glass and there is a glass pipette as well. I do prefer a pump bottle for my serums due to hygienic reasons. But still this is a good packaging. Be sure not to leave any serum in the pipette itself when you store it as you will have more oxygen affecting the product.
The targeting “areas” of this serum is whitening and I do have hyperpigmentation. Darker spots that comes from too much sun damage (as a Swede when I was younger. The browner you were from sunbathing (not mud bathing😊 the fresher you look). Today I know better and always use a sunblock on my face and parts that are in the sun.
This Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest Extract 97% B-jo Serum is quite liquid and you only need a tiny amount for your face. It is also scented but not strong so it doesn’t bother me at all.
When first looking at this product and realizing it was made from the spit in swallow’s nest I decided not to buy it. Not because of the saliva but because of the birds. In Sweden we often see other countries problems and talk about them a lot (or media and politicians) but when turning our eyes into our own country they close their eyes and thinks that all is perfect), which as a Swede I can tell you that is I not.
Far from it, but it is not a discussion for this post😊. As swedes we hear a lot of the bird’s nest soup and shark fin soup and a lot of other things and we are shocked by the information we get from media. As if this is true, I have no clue. The media in Sweden is also a political question…
I know this was a little way out there, but I needed to explain why this one was not ok for me to buy from the start. I started reading about how they collected the nests and realized they collected old unused nests that are abandoned.
When looking at a swallow, they do return to their nesting spot year after year and if the nest is still good they will use it. if not, they will build another one. So really no harm done and I do hope and think that this is how they do it. What we read in media is that they harvest all the time (no matter if there are birds nesting there or not) and this is of course not ok in any means.
As some of you know I am actually a Biologist/Zoologist and Ethologist so when these subjects come up I get really interested. But back to topic…… sorry….
This Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest Extract 97% B-jo Serum absorbs really easily and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling behind. After using it, my skin feels nice and looks nice.
It is always difficult to say exactly what it is doing for my skin. It depends on so many factors like the environment, what I eat, the rest of my skincare and a lot of other things. So usually when I test serums out the feeling and the overall look on my skin decides if I like it or not..
It is supposed to be super hydrating. It is hydrating, but during winter time my skin is like a desert and then it doesn’t do magic on my skin. During summer time my skin behaves much better and then I really enjoy using this one.

As for the claims
Whitening: Yes, it helped with my hyperpigmentation to some extent. And I really feel like using another bottle of this just to see if it does even more. I have had a large hyperpigmentation spot at one of my temples. Not super defined but still noticeable to me, and that has been there for years and nothing has helped. Today it is gone, and if this is because of this product I don’t know for sure. But hey I am happy.
Wrinkle care: totally impossible to say since I only used one bottle and that time only will tell what’s in store for gravity and other factors on my face.
Skin repair. can’t really say either.
improves skin texture, yes it does. My skin feels really nice after using it.
