What is collagen?

It is the main protein that exists naturally in your skin and body and is sometimes referred to as the glue of your body. About 30-35% of your body consists of Collagen and around 75 %of your skin is made of Collagen. The production of collagen decreases with age (as does almost everything, except the effect of gravity on your but). This leading to saggy skin and formation of wrinkles (tell me about it).

Packaging

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream comes in a sturdy plastic jar and I really like the packaging of this cream. I think that the design is nice (they upgraded this one a few years ago). I do prefer my creams to come in a tube, since it is more hygienic but if you use a spatula it isn’t that bad?

My thoughts on Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream

This cream feels really nice on my skin when I apply it. It almost glides on my face which is probably the benefit of the Silica in the product.

The consistency is a little jelly like and bouncy (if that is a word one can use to describe a cream).

This is scented, but it is not a scent that is bothering me (I am usually quite sensitive to smell). On my skin, this cream absorbs rather quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. I do feel that I have to wait a little longer before applying BB cream. But it really doesn’t bother me.

Sadly, this cream isn’t enough for my dry skin, I really thought that it was going to be enough but my skin feels dry and I really do need a heavier cream for my skin to be happy.

This product contains several alcohols which I am actually quite surprised by. This might be the reason why I don’t love this cream. My skin really hates alcohol, no matter the amount. It is very rare that I actually like a product that contains alcohol at all. Sometimes it happens, but not this time.

I give this product 5/7
