My thoughts on Etude House play 101 pencil

When first reading about these pencils I was really intrigued. It seems that people just love them unconditionally so of course I had to try a couple out.

When first looking at all the colors I just felt I wanted them all but decided not to buy to many before really trying them out.

These pencils come in so many different shades, textures and functions. Depending on which one you choose you can use it as highlighter, concealer, lip product, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, eyebrow pencil and only your fantasy decides what you do.

The shades I choose was 05, 27 and 47. 05 is a pure glitter eyeliner and I really have a huge problem with this one. The glitter transfer all over the place and I feel that if you want glitter, then go for this one. If you want glitter that you can control then stay away from this one.

The liner does last a whole day on my eyelid but so does the glitter. I tried using this on my eyelid as a shadow as well and that was a total fail as well. It didn’t last the whole day and it creased. The glitter stayed though, all over my face.

The shade 27 was really a disappointment. I thought it was the prettiest pink color. And it was, but the lasting power really sucked.

For the shade 47 it was much better. As an eyeliner it lasts the whole day, when using it as a shadow it’s a total fail as well. I really don’t get the hype about these and I don’t think I ever seen anyone saying something negative about them. So, this might be the first.

There are some good features about them though. They don’t rub off when you let them set and they are creamy and easy to work with. The packaging is nice as well. The pen is a twist up pen and there is a sharpener at the end so you can create thin lines.

I will not explore any other options of these since my experience with these two colors was nothing that suits my needs.

I give this product 1/7
