My thoughts on Etude House SoonJung 5.5 Foam Cleanser
Etude House is a brand I have had some struggle with due to that I was a part of their Pink bird program some year ago. The Pink Bird program was that they send you products (a box per month) and then you review the products. Just simple and basic. But after that collaboration I decided to not buy from the brand and didn’t do so for many years. And this is actually the first products I bought since then.
The reason for me boycotting the brand was due to their lack of respect towards the people who were in the program. Not answering several peoples mails and just being disrespectful toward people in the program. Not going in to it more than that though.
But I have been curious about this product for some time and decided to try it out.
Packaging
They recently changed their packaging of this line and I really do like it. It comes in a regular soft tube so it is easy to get all the product out.
Texture and scent
Etude House SoonJung 5.5 Foam Cleanser has a creamy texture and lathers really nicely when you add some water to it. It is also unscented which is a big win for me. I really don’t understand why brand add so much scent to their products since it is much nice without.
Cleansing abilities
It does a great job in cleansing my skin without stripping it from all its moisture. I have really dry skin and often when I use this type of foaming cleanser they tend to leave my skin feeling dry and uncomfortable. This is not the case with Etude House SoonJung 5.5 Foam Cleanser. Instead my skin feels soft and nice. Not moisturized in any way but not drying either.
I also have really sensitive eyes and some cleanser are really harsh on my eyes. This one is the opposite, and have not experienced any discomfort in my eyes either.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a really nice and mild cleanser that suits any skin type this is absolutely a cleanser for you. It does a great job in cleaning the skin without stripping it of all its moisture. So an absolute favorite for sure.
I give this product 7/7
