Claims

Smudge proof- it is true

Long wearing- I felt this to be true as well

Not easily removed- This one I do not agree with since I feel that it is very easy to remove it with just a cleansing water.

How to apply it

Very light strokes and you will create a hair like illusion.

My thought on Etude House Tint My 4-tip Brow

I was really surprised by this product, I actually really like it.

I only use a tiny amount because I really don’t like the look of overdrawn eyebrows. The overdrawn look or the Instagram look started in the drag business. Simply for guys to look more feminine.

To me, the overdrawn eyebrow looks weird (on me) and unnatural and is simply not for me. But it might look good on you, and if you are liking it, keep it up. It is only makeup and you should have fun with it.

This type of product can work for those who doesn’t like that Instagram look and also for those who do. It all depends on how much you use and how strong you make the lines.

If you like the natural look you need to be very light on your hand when applying. Otherwise you lose the stroke like look. The color I received, dark brown, is a little too light for me, but I can still use it. I do feel that the shade is a little weird. To me it feels like a light brown tinting towards yellow or greenish yellow.

When I apply it I simply apply it were my eyebrow are sparse, and where I need a little more filled effect.

It will take some practice in applying it, before you will get the result that you are looking for. And it is the perfect way to get the illusion of fuller eyebrows. If you are going for the Instagram look, this will probably look painted on, the same as a regular brush.

A tip from Etude House is to put the product on before going to bed to get a more intense eyebrow stain. I don’t know about this, since I really prefer a clean face when going to bed. So, this is not something I will be testing. But please let me know if any of you do. Would be nice to know if there is any difference in intensity applying it in the morning or in the evening.

I give this product 5/7

I bought this and i love it but im dishwater blonde and there was no blonde.I ordered light brown but still to dark.Do you think you will ever make a blonde and can i get my money back on this?

  • Tess

    Hi Debbie
I really cant answer that question since I don’t produce or sell any products. I would recommend you to contact Etude House and ask them and hopefully you will get an answer from them.

I bought this, but it seems to be dry. Am I supposed to wet it with water? That didn’t work either….maybe I just got a bad one. Did yours come ready to just open and brush on?

  • Tess

Hi. Oh noo, that is so disappointing.
When I got mine it was just to paint on. Quite watery.
Have you left it standing with lid on and tip down for a little while? Just to get the product a chance to get soaked into the brush.
If that doesn’t work you probably got a dry product. So just contact the company you bought it from and they will hopefully get you a refund.

I went to use a second time, but bristles were white and dry. Can’t get the tint to come out. Only used once. I ordered two one for me and one for my Mom. How do I get tint to work? Or get a replacemnet?

  • Tess

I would absolutely contact Etude House (or the store where you bought them) I have heard that several people have had the same problems with this product. But you should definitely get a refund for them,

I finally received the product after 4months and when I did, it didn’t work. No product, I shook it like it said on tube it went all over my sink and nothing else came out. What a waste of time and money.

I purchased this for about 25 dollars. When I got it and tried to use it it was dry. I put a long screw innit and for one day got product. Kept it turned down and still no product. Trying to get in touch w the company and have been unsuccessful. Very sad. Any way u know how I can get a replacement?

  • Tess

    Hi Patty
This is so disappointing. I have heard that so many people have had the same problem as you with this being dry. I actually don’t buy products from Etude House any longer because of their customer service being really bad not answering. I was in one of their blogging programs a few years ago and they didn’t bother to reply to me either, when something was wrong. so I simply decided to boycott them. And I still haven’t bought any products from them.

Did you buy this products directly from Etude House of from another store?. I would absolutely try getting a refund from the store since this is really not ok.
