My thoughts on Farmstay escargot noblesse intensive lifting essence
I bought this simply because I was curious towards it and I love using snail products on my skin. If you don’t know what snail product are you can read about them here.
This essence comes in a glass bottle which always make the product seem a little bit fancier. But the packaging doesn’t suit the product. At least according to me. The product is really hard to get out of the bottle and I usually end up with a rather aggressive motion. Like getting the ketchup out from a glass bottle. One could either make the hole larger or one can simply remove the plastic from the top. But then it is easy to get too much product at once.
If you are like me, that is using a lot of skincare products and you apply them after one another you will end up with very slippery hands. And when then trying to get the essence out of a glass bottle with a tiny hole, using force. It is so easy to slip. We have a tiled bathroom so if I drop a glass bottle they might crack.
They could solve this by simply adding a pump, and I do think that would be a better choice for this type of product.
But if we pretend that this isn’t an issue the bottle is rather nice and I do fancy the packaging (to look at). If you have the same imagination as me, the lid looks like a woman’s breast. But hey, I am not complaining, just laughing. And we all need a little bit more of that.
So back to the product itself.
As I said before, I really love snail product and I think they are wonderful for my dry skin. This essence is to be used after cleansing. But since I always apply toner first and then essences and serums. I simply put them in order of thickness. This is a simple way to do it since a lot of products tend to recommend to be used directly after cleansing. But by simply putting your products in order of thickness it gets a little easier.
Farmstay escargot noblesse intensive lifting essence contains gold flakes.
This essence is really strongly scented. I have a sensitive nose when it comes to scents so this is not making me very happy. The smell doesn’t last on my skin though, so that is a good thing.
When applying it, it absorbs really fast into my skin without leaving any sticky feeling on my skin.
As for its claims of being moisturizing on my skin. It does in some extension but I wouldn’t say it is amazing on that though. But I still like using it and it does moisturize my skin to some extent. Since my skin is really dry this might be the reason for it not doing wonders. If you are normal to dry this might be great for you so I really do recommend you giving it a try.
I give this product 5/7
