My thoughts on First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
This was a new brand for me and I simply ordered it because I read a lot of nice review on it. When I bought it, my skin was really bad after winter and my skin simply wasn’t working with me. I had tried a cleansing product that was not working for my skin so it took me a long time to get my skin back to normal. I realize now that I should not try out product that I really don’t think is great for my skin during winter. Not for a longer time that is.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is a thick white cream and at the first look at it I felt that oh my, this will be way too much. My skin is super dry and I usually never think that a product might be too much for me. But the consistency of this really made me think it would not absorb and leave an oily surface instead. But I was completely wrong.
I follow the Korean skincare routine, which is basically adding on a huge number of products on my skin. I have been following this routine for quite some time and will never ever change back to a three-layer skincare routine. Since I use a lot of products on my skin, the moisturizing layer can be a problem simply because the product might not work with a lot of other products and simply can’t penetrate the barrier already made from other products
But First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream really surprised me, it worked amazingly on my skin and no matter how many layers I put on before it still absorbed easily. It is a little thicker when applying, and I do have to work a little bit more to get it to fully absorb. When fully absorbed it does not leave any sticky feeling on my skin.
The packaging is nice and simple, it comes in a regular tube and it is easy to get all of the product out.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is not scented, but it isn’t scent free. It does smell like cream or some chemical but it doesn’t bother me. But one can’t say it has a fresh scent.
This cream can be used as a facial cream or a body cream. I have only used it as a facial cream because that is where I really needed it. But I do love a product that one can use for dry patches and other parts as well.
When looking at the claims for the products they were, brightening, acne-fighting and anti-aging. I really couldn’t see any results on the claims. I do not have acne problems. Anti-aging is really impossible to say since you never know how gravity would affect you if you were not using the product (no control that is). As for brightening. I do have redness around my nose, chin and cheeks but I could not see any difference whilst using this product.
This product really surprised me and I think that if you have dry skin you should really give it a try since it did magic on mine.
I give this product 7/7
