My thoughts on Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Face Foam
Hada labo is a brand from Japan that makes one of the best toners I have ever tried (link) and of course I just have to try more products from this brand.
Packaging
This cleanser comes in a great pump bottle and when dispersing the cleanser it is already foamed up which is just making life a tiny bit easier. So I really cant complain about the packaging at all.
Texture and scent
Most often when I buy foam cleansers I buy the once that needs to be foamed up by adding water (you create the foam yourself). I really don’t know why but I guess they are more common. The texture of Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Face Foam one is really lovely and it feel soft and nice on the skin. It is also an unscented cleanser which is a big win for me as well.
Cleansing abilities
As for its cleansing abilities it does a good job in cleaning my skin but I really would not use it for removing my eye makeup as they state in their description. I prefer using a separate cleanser for that mainly due to that I think they do a much better job.
If you double cleanse you would add this as your second cleanser, but you could use it as a one and only cleanser as well.
As a cleanser I would say it is ok but not more than that. It doesn’t strip all the moisture from my skin but I don’t think it adds any either. If you have normal to oily skin this might be really amazing for you but for my super dry skin it isn’t amazing.
Conclusion
This is an ok cleanser. Not drying but not moisturizing either and to be honest I haven’t found a cleanser that acts moisturizing on my skin yet.
I give this product 4/7
