My thoughts on House of Dohwa pumpkin wash off mask
I have tried pumpkin masks before and I have really enjoyed them. Pumpkin seems to be a nice ingredient for my skin. My skin is really dry. It is almost ridiculously dry, so I am always on the lookout for product that can help.
Packaging
House of Dohwa pumpkin wash off mask comes in a sachet that is just lovely. I do find that the packing is a little bit off simply because of the consistency of the product inside. I do feel that they could have done just half an opening since there is a lot of product coming out at the first squeeze. Other than that I just love the packaging.
In the description it says that you can use this facial mask twice a day. I really don’t see the need to, and I would not do that myself. Maybe twice a week is more common. But if you like to, then just go ahead.
When I first tried this one out my first thought of this was yes I think I really like it. I had that same feeling after using it a couple of times as well. But after using it a couple of times I noticed that it makes my skin drier. It does contain alcohol and that is often a problem for me. No matter what amount of alcohol my skin usually says no.
The consistency of House of Dohwa pumpkin wash off mask is jelly like and I really like the texture of it. Sadly it has a rather strong scent of alcohol.
As soon as I have applied it to my skin it feels really cooling and nice. I let it sit for about ten minutes and then washing it off. Directly after removing it my skin feels really nice, but it doesn’t take that long until it feels dry instead.
Conclusion
I do think this is a nice mask, but not for my skin type. If you know that you have really dry skin and or are sensitive to alcohol, I would stay away from this one.
I give this product 2/7
