My thoughts on Huxley secrets of Sahara toner extract it

My thoughts are so divided when it comes to this product. One part of me really likes it and another part of me don’t. This is really the reasons why I will only do first impression reviews on products I feel I have a too small amount of to really know how it affects my skin.

This is also why you as a reader should really think about what you are reading and remember that there are bloggers out there that will give you a full review of a product they only tried once. Which is honestly not giving a true review of the product.

When making a first impression of a product I can only answer to what my skin thinks after a few uses, which is not true to the product. Sometimes it is very easy even after a few uses, specially when you will have a reaction to a product. But when testing a product like this, that I really do think my skin would love. But I truly can’t say, it becomes difficult.

This toner is a pH balancing toner which helps to restore and improves your skin’s natural protective barrier. This type of product is simply amazing for every skin type out there. A lot of the products we use on our skin have a high pH, which is not to recommend. But by using a pH regulating toner we actually can work around other bad products. I am working on a simple explanation on pH and it is a post that is on the way?

But going back to this product. The scent of this really puts me off, it is really strong and you really can smell the naturalness of it. As a Swede (we are a very outdoorsy people) I would love the smell of nature, but too me it is simply too strong. The reason for this is that it consists of over 90% of natural ingredients, using cactus extract instead of purified water.

The toner is very watery and clear in color. It is easily absorbed by my skin and I am really happy to say it doesn’t contain any alcohol.

When applying this to my skin it doesn’t make my skin feel very moisturizing, and I don’t expect it to either. Instead I do expect it to balance my skin for my next steps. For moisture I will add other steps after using the toner.

My first impression of this is definitely not wow. But I do think that I would love to try the full-sized product just to see how it behaves on my skin. I really think that this is that type of product you need to try over time.
