My thoughts on Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner
They just recently changed the packaging of this one but it is still the same ingredients and content
Toners can make a huge different on your skin. It is the first step after all the cleansing (no matter if you double cleanser or cleanser once). When choosing a toner I would recommend you to look for something that suits your skin type in particular. For example I have really dry skin and I can not use a toner that contains alcohol. If you have really sensitive skin you should stay away from strongly scented products and so on.
You need to know you skin and what your skin needs and then it will be much easier to find an amazing toner for your skin.
When I bought this one my hopes were super high. I had heard so much about it and it is supposed to be amazing for my skin type. People were saying it was super hydrating and so on. And of course I had to buy it. Without doing much research on it at all.
Packaging
The packaging has recently changed and I must say I prefer the old version. But they haven’t changed anything inside the bottle. It comes in a regular plastic bottle. The old version is a little bit more clean looking and I really like it.
Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner itself is light yellow/brown and is a little thicker than water. There is some scent to it but nothing that is strong or annoying.
When starting to look at the description of this one it clearly states that it is for oily/combination skin so it is not supposed to be amazing for my skin type. But here is why you need to check what the description says and not only follow what people are telling you. If I had read that it is for oily/combination skin I would never have bought it. Instead I only saw that people were raving that it was so moisturizing and great. So you see I do these mistakes as well even though I know how important it is to match my skin type.
So enough about that ranting and instead I can only say that it is not moisturizing for my skin at all.
It is absolutely not a toner for my skin type what so ever and even thought I use it as a first toner (adding another one after that suits my skin better) it isn’t helping and I really can’t say I like it at all.
I will stop using this one during this winter and try using it in the summer time instead when my skin isn’t as dry.
Conclusion
If you have normal to oily skin Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner might be an amazing toner for you. My skin is super dry and it doesn’t feel nice on my skin. This is of course my fault since if I’ve read the description I would have seen that it wasn’t for me.
I give this product 1/7*
*It was my fault for buying a product that shouldn’t match my skin type to start with.
