Description
Brightening and intense moisturizing sleeping mask
My thoughts on IUNIK propolis vitamin sleeping mask
I love sleeping masks. And I mean love. I think this type of product is one of the best inventions ever.
I have tried a few products from IUNIK before (I was send some products from them that I got to test and review). So then I got really interested in the brand and wanted to try some more products.
Since I am hooked on sleeping masks I wanted to try this one out.
When looking at the ingredient list it looks really amazing for my skin and I felt that this must be a win for me. Contains 16% propolis (moisturizing, nourishing and lifting). Vitamin tree fruit extract 8% (brightening, vitamin care) Centella asiatica 5% (sensitive skin soothing).
When trying out IUNIK propolis vitamin sleeping mask I was surprised. I felt that it actually didn’t do much for my skin and it felt more like a regular moisturizer than a sleeping mask. I have really dry skin so when I use a sleeping mask I do expect my skin to feel great in the morning. But this one doesn’t give me that feeling. I don’t think that the product is a bad sleeping mask more my skin that is simply too dry for this to work well. And if you have normal to dry (not super dry) this might be amazing for you.
It also is a brightening sleeping mask and I really cant say that I see any difference when it comes to brightening as well. This is always hard to say when it comes to a sleeping mask. Since you don’t use it every single night. And when it comes to brightening products you need to use it for a long time to see any difference on the skin.
Packaging
The IUNIK propolis vitamin sleeping mask comes in a tube packaging. This is the type of packaging I prefer since it is way more hygienic than a tub where you need to dip a spatula or fingers in the product.
The color of IUNIK propolis vitamin sleeping mask is light yellow.
Its consistency is rather thick but it is easy and smooth to apply. It penetrates rather quick for a sleeping mask and I think I will continue to use it as a regular moisturizer instead of a sleeping mask.
It is scented but it is not a very strong scent and more towards fresh than anything else. Usually I prefer my skincare to be without scent but this is really not bothering me at all.
I give this product 2/7
