My thoughts on IUNIK Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner
When I first bought this I was simply looking for a good toner and the ingredient hyaluronic acid is always something that has been working for me. I usually use an hyaluronic acid from Hada Labo (that is amazing) but wanted to see if I could find anything similar.
The toner itself reminds me a lot of the Hada Labo lotions since it is gel like and not watery in consistency. It also feels a little slimy.
When applying IUNIK Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner it feels nice on my skin and it absorbs rather quick into my skin but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling moisturized. I do have really dry skin and I don’t expect a toner to act super moisturizing on my skin.
I does have a scent but nothing I can really put my finger on. It is absolutely nothing strong and if you are not sensitive to smells you probably wont notice very much.
After it has absorbed it does feel a little sticky on my skin but that disappears as soon as I add the rest of my routine on top.
It does contain brightening ingredients like niacinamide and Hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract (Sea Buckthorn) which is a great source for vitamin C. But I did not notice any brightening effect of the toner. I wouldn’t buy a toner for brightening purposes ( I would go for a serum instead) but at least it is good to know if one is looking for brightening products.
The packaging
The packaging is really nice. It comes in a hard plastic container with a quite wide opening. But the product it self is gel like in consistency so they need a bigger opening to get the product out. I really love when a brand thinks of the whole product. There are so many times I tried a product and the product is either to hard to get out of the packaging (ex thick consistency and a tiny hole). But the packaging on this one is good and works well.
Conclusion
I am not super amazed by IUNIK Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner. It will not replace my beloved Hada Labo lotion but I do find it to be a nice toner.
If you have more normal skin types this might be great for you. But if you are on the desert dry side this might not do wonders.
I give this product 4/7
