La Roche Posay is a brand that I most often love. I do find that their products works amazing on my skin. So, when I was looking for a new sun lotion for my family and this one was way cheaper then my regular one from Vichy I decided to give it a try.
This I will not do again….. I was so disappointed with this product mainly because it was hard spreading the product out. I do have a problem with chronic pain and I get muscle pain when I use my arms for “long” periods of time. Long for me is about 10 sec. This makes my life difficult when using sun lotions, doing my hair, needing to keep my arms up and a lot of other things.
Since I use sun blocking products on a daily basis I need a sun lotion that is easy to use or at least doesn’t give me problems applying it. As a Swede I am very outdoorsy (a lot of Swedes are) and being indoor when the weather is nice is really not an option. Especially if you are country people. I have two kids as well that are more outside than indoors when the weather is fine so I need a good sun lotion for my whole family.
The packaging is nice, it is a regular tube and it is easy to get the product out. But since it is a thick cream it will dry on the opening leaving a thick piece of product when using it after a while again.
La roche posay Anthelios Dermo Pediatrics really needs to be worked into your skin. And it takes a long time doing so. It does leave a white cast on your skin as well and I would not use it as a facial sun lotion even though the product states that it can be used on body and on face.
It is really thick in consistency and it is waterproof which is great so I don’t have to reapply too often. We live just besides a lake so when summer is here there is a lot of swimming.
La roche posay Anthelios Dermo Pediatrics does a great job in protecting my skin from the sun, and I haven’t burned when using it. No matter how long I have been outdoors. Which is the main reason for using it😊. And just because I have a problem applying it doesn’t make this a bad product. More, a product not suited for me. So, if you are looking for a sun lotion that works great this one does. But if you have pain in your arms and have problems when applying a sun lotion. Either get your partner to do it or simply choose another sun lotion.
