My thoughts on La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Rich
I bought this moisturizer together with a serum when I had some points to spend at a store. Before I started my Korean skincare journey I used to buy a lot of La Roche Posay products since they really worked with my skin. When saying worked well, that is before I thought my skin could get better. But still the brand is really nice and it is a brand I love trying out.
The packaging of La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Rich is really nice and I love that I don’t have to dip in a jar to get the product out. This way it is more hygienic and I don’t have to dip my fingers in the product.
The cream is white and somewhat watery in texture so at the first glance it doesn’t feel that moisturizing. But I have tried a lot of Korean moisturizers with that same feeling. You don’t expect much but still the cream works wonders. For example TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream.
It is scented, and rather strongly. It is also scented with a perfume scent which is a big no no for me. The scent does linger for some time and I can smell it for a long time. I am really sensitive when it comes to smells. Not my skin, but more my nose and if something is scented I prefer a fresh scent and not a perfume scent. But hey, you can not win all the times.
La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Rich absorbs really fast on my skin and doesn’t leave any stickiness or oiliness on my skin. I do have really dry skin and my skin soaks up most of what I put on it.
Sadly this on did not do any magic for my skin but I do think that if you have normal to dry skin it might be really amazing for you during dry periods. As I said before my skin is not only dry it is more dry as a desert and I have tried this product during Easter when my skin is starting to misbehave. During winter this would not work at all for me. It all depends on your skin type.
I give this product 3/7
