My thoughts on Laritzy Athena Eyeshadow Collection

This is a palette I received in one of my subscription boxes some time ago. Since I don’t use eyeshadows daily it took me some time to try it out.

The packaging

I really love the packaging on Laritzy Athena Eyeshadow Collection. I think it is simple but perfect. It is rather slim even though it does contain a mirror.

Since I am not super great at makeup I do like wearing eyeshadow when I want to look a little extra. But since I am not great in applying it I will not give you any looks with it.

I do find that all the shades goes really well together and they all tend to hint towards red. It is not a palette I would have bought on my own since I do prefer more brownish tones. But I really think that it is a beautiful palette.

In the Laritzy Athena Eyeshadow Collection there are 4 matte and 5 shimmer shades. And I find that all shades are easy to work with and blends really nicely. They are a little powdery but if I tap my brush (as you always should when considering fallout) there is no problem working with them.

The shades are

ATLAS: Light salmon matte
FATE: Champagne shimmer
CALYPSO: Nude with peach undertone matte
HERO: Auburn matte
GODDESS: Hot coral shimmer
ODYSSEY: Coppery gold shimmer
JUSTICE: Salmon pink shimmer
ARES: Peachy coral shimmer
NOX: Indian red matte

Without an eyeshadow primer

I always recommend using an eyeshadow primer but I wanted to try the palette without as well. The shades are easy to blend and to build up. They are really opaque and since they go toward red it can look really weird when applying too much. So I rather reapply than start with too much.

The lasting power is really good. Even without a primer it lasted me the whole day. In the end of the day it had creased but there were still color all over my lid.

With an eyeshadow primer

I used MISSHA Color Fix Eye Primer.

There is a huge difference in color payout when it comes to using a primer and I feel that you need less product when using a good primer underneath. The shades blends really easily when using a primer as well, and the only difference is that the colors are more vibrant and the lasting power is even better.

If you are looking for a really nice palette and like colors like these this is a really good one.

Sadly I couldn’t find the ingredient list anywhere online.

I give this product 5/7
