My thoughts on Lumene illuminating primer
I bought this primer some time ago when I really was looking for a primer that might work with my super dry skin type.
Makeup feeling comfortable is always a problem for really dry skins, since everything we put on is uncomfortable unless you find the right products for you.
It is not scented which suits me perfectly. I really don’t understand why some primers are so strongly scented. I prefer that most of my products would be without scent. Except for perfume that is.
Lumene illuminating primer is really easy to apply, and it absorbs fast into my skin without leaving it feeling sticky. So one doesn’t have to wait too long to apply BB cream or foundation.
The packaging
Lumene illuminating primer comes in a regular plastic tube that is easy to use. The product is easy to get out as well. But I would recommend you to shake it before you use it as it will layer in the tube.
When I use this primer I really like the way my skin looks. There really is some illuminating effect to the primer. But if you use a foundation with full coverage the illuminating effect wont show due to that the makeup will cover it all. This doesn’t mean that the primer wont work. It is just the illuminating effect that wont show.
Even though it is a primer you still can use it without any makeup. I often do when I just want my skin to get that nice glow to my skin but without it looking oily.
When using it for a full day my skin does get dry. It is not a magical product for my skin, but it doesn’t make my skin feel super dry so it does help some. I do think this is perfect for dry skin, but might not be enough for really dry skin types.
I give this product 4/7
