My thoughts on Lumene moisturizing cleansing cream
Lumene is one of those brands that has products I really like and then they have products that are total fail for me.
Lumene is a Finish brand and I am always interested in trying products from neighboring countries.
Packaging
This cleansing cream comes in a beautiful pink tube. I just really like the look of it and the type of packaging suits the product.
Texture and scent
Lumene moisturizing cleansing cream is really thick in consistency. You really feel that it is a moisturizing cleanser. It does have some scent to it but it is really mild.
When I first saw this my thoughts were, yes I just have to try this one. I love oil cleansers and in my mind this was supposed to be something similar to that. I know it is not a typical oil or a balm cleanser but I thought it could be a good one.
As for cleansers I normally double cleanse when ever I have been using makeup. That is as my evening routine. As for mornings I only cleanse once. My thoughts when I bought this was to use it as a first cleanser. But that thought changes after the first time I tried it.
I really don’t know what this product does. It does not remove my makeup very well at all. It is super difficult to remove after I have massaged it into my skin, unless I use some kind of cloth to wipe it off with. It does not emulsify in any way when in contact with water. I doesn’t remind me of any kind of cleanser I have ever tried and that is not said in a positive way at all. The closest I can come to describe it is that if you apply a heavy moisturizer onto your face and then try to remove that. It really doesn’t do anything for me.
The only positive thing I can say is that it doesn’t sting my eyes at least.
So this product was an absolute bummer.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a new cleanser. This is not it. I don’t see what it does, since it doesn’t cleanse my face from makeup and that is the reason I bought it in the first place.
I give this product 0/7
