My thoughts on Lumene moisturizing cleansing mousse
I don’t often use skincare products from other countries than Korea, but from time and again I do since I do run out of products and whenever I shop from Korea I shop more products due to shipping costs. So therefore it happens that I need to buy a few product from other countries. Lumene is a Finish brand and I have tried a few cleanser from them before.
Today it is quite common with Korean brands in Sweden but they are so expensive here that I would never buy them in Sweden.
Packaging
It comes in a pink plastic bottle with a foaming pump. This means that the foam is already created for you so no rubbing between your hands to create the foam. I like the packaging and I tend to love that the foam is already created. Call me lazy or what, but I just find it pleasing.
Texture and scent
The foam is soft an really gentle on the skin. It is also scented, but not super strong and not a scent that seems to bother me.
As for its cleansing abilities I think it does a good job. I don’t use this as an only cleanser if I have been using a lot of makeup. In those cases I use an oil cleanser first and this as a second cleanser following the Korean method. But this is a perfect cleanser for using in the mornings after using any type of sleeping mask or if you just need a mild cleanser.
I can’t say that it is amazing in getting all of my makeup off if I use a full face. But I normally don´t use only one cleanser when I have makeup on.
I have one of those typical dry Scandinavian skin types which is dry or super dry, and often when it comes to cleanser my skin is rather sensitive. A cleanser can have a huge impact on dry skin type and it is really important to chose one that is mild and gentle. Especially during winter.
I did not experience any dryness or itchiness from this cleanser so I do think it is a good one.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a mild and gentle cleanser that is suitable for dry skin types I would definitely give this a try.
I give this product 6/7
