12 matte shades
Ingredient analysis: Skincarisma
I really like this packaging, it is simple but not too simple and I do love that I see what palette I am going for without opening the lid.
It doesn’t follow a brush with this, but instead they are including a sponge applicator which I simply throw away since I really don’t like them. I do feel that a lot of palettes includes brushes, but basically, they could stop with that since the brushes aren’t any good anyways. Better to lower the price of the product instead.
It is a palette with 12 matt shades and you get a lot of shadows for the money, and I really like the range of shades.
The packaging is a simple plastic palette with a large mirror, it comes with a sponge applicator but I am not a fan of those types of applicators so that one is going in the garbage.
My thoughts on Makeup revolution redemption essential mattes 2
I really like this palette a lot. It is a palette with 12 matte eyeshadows and they are perfect for everyday usage.
The shadows are pigmented, but not too pigmented, so this will suit people who aren’t amazingly great in applying eyeshadow as well. The shadows are buildable and doesn’t leave much fallout.
They are a little powdery so they might give you some fallout if you don’t tap your brush before applying.
The shadows blend really easily and I feel that there are so many natural shades in it so the palette would fit anyone.
I have tested these once without a primer but I always recommend using a primer underneath. The primer will make the shades look brighter and will make the shadows last longer.
I give this product 6,5/7
