My thoughts on MISSHA All-around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel 50+ PA++++
I am one of those late bloomers when it comes to sun protection. I live in Sweden and we always seem to have more rain than sun. My knowledge is better now, so I am using sun creams on a regular basis. I do not use sun protection products when I know I will not be outdoors for a longer period of time.
Packaging
I really like the packaging of MISSHA All-around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel. It is clean and I just like it.
I will start with giving a heads up that this does contain alcohol. I did not check the ingredients before I bought it. So if you know that you are sensitive to alcohol you should stay away. I usually avoid all types of alcohol in my skincare during winter. During summer my skin is more fine with it. So I will not use this during winter time. But when I am writing this review it is summer, and I will definitely finish it up before winter.
The Missha sun gel is super lightweight. It is a chemical sun gel (I wont go into the difference between chemical and physical sun creams here, but will write a separate post on the topic).
It is so easy to blend into the skin, it feel almost like a very light moisturizer. When you’ve applied it let it sit for a while before adding makeup on top. I am really amazed how it feels on my skin. Directly after applying it my skin feels really cool, it will not leave any white cast on my skin and there is absolutely no sticky feeling. My skin feels just like I added a light moisturizer.
If you have super dry skin make sure to add a really moisturizing moisturizer underneath. At least this works for me.
The texture of MISSHA All-around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel is little gel like but reminds me more of an emulsion than a gel.
This sun gel is scented. It is not strongly scented and it doesn’t have that typical sun cream smell. More like a regular moisturizer.
Conclusion
This is an amazing sun gel and I really like it a lot. It does an amazing job in protecting my skin. This sun gel works well with makeup but it does contain alcohol so if you know you are really sensitive be aware of that.
I give this 7/7
