My thoughts on Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating cleanser
Received this is one of my Glossyboxes and Murad is a really amazing brand and I really love trying product from them. This one is an AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser. I will do a post on using acids in skincare later on but for now one can simply say that the acids help exfoliates the skin. AHA works on the surface on the skin and BHA works on the surface and in the pores. But I will not go into this deeper in this post.
The cleanser is really easy to use and it does an amazing job in cleansing my face. My pores look and feel cleaner as well. I have super dry skin so I don’t have huge issues with my pores, but still I love when they look cleaner. I always need to exfoliate my skin due to the dryness of it. Many people think that if you have dry skin you should not use exfoliating product, but it is the complete opposite. If you don’t exfoliate your skin you will have dry patches and your products will have a problem in penetrating your skin. by removing the dead skin cells your product works much better.
The cleanser is scented, but it is a creamy mild fresh scent and it really doesn’t bother me.
I want to lift a finger of warning to overusing this. Simply don’t. it is more powerful for your skin than you will realize from the start. When overusing them your skin will really hurt. If your skin is like mine, super dry this is really important.
I always exfoliate on a regular basis so I need to be even more careful not overusing these types of products. If you never exfoliate your skin, this type of product will be amazing for you. But still only use them 2-3 times a week and it is better to start slow.
If you have sensitive skin start using it once a week to see how your skin reacts.
This is a pricy product and if money isn’t an issue for you then I really recommend it. If you are like me, always on a budget. I would probably look for other options.

This product sounds amazing. My skin looks dull and rough so I have a need to try this cleanser to give my skin a healthy looking beautiful glow. Thanks for sharing.

Hope it works for you Lisa. I do find the exfoliating and then especially sugar scrubs (for my skin at least) works wonders for my skin when it is feeling rough. I just love the difference afterwards:-)
