My thoughts on NYX Hydratouch Oil Primer
This is one of those products I have been wanting to try out for some time but simply hasn’t until now. And this is also one of those products I wished I had found a long time ago. Because for my skin it is a game changer.
Always when I use foundation or BB creams my skin feels dry during the day and my makeup doesn’t look super nice. Some BB creams are better than others like Missha signature real complete BB cream (simply one of my favorites) But they almost always make my skin feel uncomfortable during the day. Bare in mind that I have super dry skin and I am living in Sweden. So the only time my skin feels comfortable is during the summer time. But this is also the time I use the least amount of makeup. So when I test products out I always test it during both summer and (fall, east or winter). Just to be sure if I like the product or not.
If you have dry, oily, acne prone or any type of skin with texture issues. A primer can do wonders for your skin. But you do need to find the right primer for your skin type. If you have a very oily skin type you should go for a primer for that specific issue. If you have a lot of acne scars a blurring primer might be your choice. But you really need to try different types to find your perfect primer.
I use NYX Hydratouch Oil Primer as I would any other. I apply my skincare and then let it sit for a while. Then I apply the primer and let that one sit for a while before applying my BB cream or foundation.
The packaging
I just love this packaging. It feels fancy even though it might not look very fancy. But there is a pipette inside so when you twist the lid. A pump comes up and you can fill your pipette (I am making a video for YouTube to show how it works). It is a glass bottle so be sure not to drop it.
When I apply my makeup on top of NYX Hydratouch Oil Primer it makes a huge different. My makeup goes on smoother and I really do love the look on my skin. Before I bought this primer I always used a few drops of oil together with my BB cream or foundation. My skin always felt a little better during the drier seasons. But when comparing that method to this one there is a huge difference.
When I have been using this primer my skin doesn’t feel dry or uncomfortable. It doesn’t make my skin look oily. But I do think that if you have a normal skin type this might be the issue for you. But simply you need to try it out and see how your skin reacts.
When trying this one out I have been trying it with different BB creams to see if there is any difference and I really couldn’t find any.
So if you have dry or super dry skin this might be amazing for you as well and I really recommend it. Did I mention it is rather cheap as well.
I give this product 7/7
