My thoughts on PURITO Centella Unscented Recovery Cream
This is one of those product I expected to like immediately simply due to that it has a few great ingredients that my skin just seem to love. Ceramides and Centella.
Centella, Cica or Tiger grass is a herb that grows in Asia and is used mainly for its hydrating and its ability to calm skin.
Ceramides also helps with hydration and repairs a damage skin barrier.
I am not going in deeper on the ingredients, since I do feel that there are others who knows so much more about this and can explain it much better so I just stick to the basics.
Packaging
PURITO Centella Unscented Recovery Cream comes in a nice regular soft plastic tube that fits the product well. I do prefer tubes over some kind of tub since it is just more hygienic.
Texture and scent
PURITO Centella Unscented Recovery Cream is thicker in consistency but with out that feeling of being greasy. Thicker creams often takes longer to absorb into the skin but I feel that this one absorbs really fast and without leaving my skin sticky.
As the name is implying it is unscented which is a big win for me. I do think that more brands are using less perfume or scent in their product. A lot of Korean product smells really strong and that is always a big no for me. I don’t mind a little scent but I do feel that it is rather unnecessary and can cause irritation to the skin instead of actually being beneficial.
When it comes to moisturizers my main goal is to find a moisturizer that makes my skin feeling hydrated all day, or at least as long as possible. It works well with all of my other skincare products and makeup without causing any pilling.
It does not last the whole day on my skin (making my skin feels moisturized that is) but I rarely find a moisturizer that does. Bare in mind that I have really dry skin and moisture is my main issue. This might be amazing if you have normal to dry skin.
Conclusion
It is a nice moisturizer and suits all skin types. If you have more oily skin this might work better for you in your evening routine than in your morning routine.
