Description

This BB cream provides a natural and radiant finish, and strengthens the skin barrier. It gently absorbs into the skin and has a long-lasting formula. This product does not contain artificial fragrances, essential oils, and harmful ingredients,  which can cause irritation, making it great for people with all skin types including sensitive skin.

My thought on PURITO Cica Clearing BB Cream

I have been looking for a BB cream to add to my favorite list for a long time. And I haven’t been able to find anything that works great on my skin. My favorite has always been Missha perfect cover BB cream and Missha Signature real complete BB cream. Even though I really like those I am still looking for a product with little or preferably no scent. That is why I started looking at this one from Purito.

Korean BB creams are amazing when you find the right match, sadly they are not that great on shade range. Usually I mix to get my perfect shade so I tend to by two shades to start with.

Packaging

Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream comes in a regular tube. It is a simple yet nice packaging and I really don’t wish for more. So nothing to complain about here.

Often when it comes to product that claims being dewy, super moisturizing etc. that doesn’t seem to be the case on my skin. I haven’t yet found a BB cream or foundation that makes my skin feel happy during the full time I am wearing it. Usually in the end of the day my skin feels dry. Bare in mind I have super dry skin so this is an issue that I have with every product I use.

The shades on Korean BB creams are always an issue and I do find that the easiest way is to except that you probably wont find a perfect match and instead mix your own shade. I always have darker yellow toned shades at home. This to get rid of that grayness a lot of shade seem to have. This goes for a lot of brand so it is nothings specific to this one from Purito.

Shade 23 seem to be my best match but I do need a little yellow in it, so therefore I bought shade 23 and 27 (also it is good to have a darker shade since summer is coming up).

Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream does contain sun screen but you should always add a layer of sunscreen anyway simple due to that the amount in the BB cream is not enough protection.

The BB cream is not thick nor lightweight, I will say it is something in between. It is not scented at all which is a big win for me. I have sensitive eyes and when using BB creams or foundations around my eye area they often make my eyes really annoyed. This one doesn’t, so I will say that it is good option if you have sensitive eyes as well.

As for application method I always end up using my fingers. I do feel it look more natural if I do and I find it easy to apply with this method. The finish is natural and semi matt (on my dry skin). It doesn’t look like I have a ton of product on my face and it blends perfectly into my skin.

The BB cream has light to medium coverage and it is buildable. I do prefer this coverage because the main thing I look for is a product to even out my skin tone. If you are looking for really full coverage I would not go for this one.

As for its moisturizing properties I can say it is good but not amazing. But I have not yet found a product that matches me perfectly when it comes to my dry skin so that is not a big thing. It will last me all day as well so I don’t think I have one negative thing to say about this one.

But my overall impression is that it is an amazing product.

A new favorite for sure.

Conclusion

I have found a new favorite and I am super happy. I tried it for some time now and even after the first time using it I realized I found an amazing match for me. If you are looking for a really great BB cream that is free from scent and gives a really natural result this is the one for you.

I give this 7/7
