My thoughts on Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner
I saw a Swedish YouTuber mentioning this toner and decided to try it out. I have not had the best experience with this brand before so I was a little skeptic to begin with. I know a lot of people love their products but they simply hasn’t worked for me.
But hopes are set high for this one.
Packaging
Pyunkang yul essence toner comes in a pretty blue plastic bottle. It has a regular cap, so you just pore the product into your hands or on a cotton pad. It is a simple and nice packaging.
Texture and scent
This is an essence toner, which means that it is a little bit thicker in consistency compared to many other types of toners. I have super dry skin and love using thicker toners because they are often more hydrating and I think they are just amazing for my skin.
Pyunkang yul essence toner is clear in color and has no scent at all. Product not being scented is what I prefer as well. I really don’t get why brands add so much fragrance to their products at all. Some I can understand but others are just confusing. Like why do you need a scented eye cream? If you have any great answer to that I would love it if you leave a comment.
So is this a winning product for me? It absolutely is. I think this is an amazing toner and especially for people with dry skin. It does an amazing job in moisturizing my skin. It does take a little longer for it to absorb into my skin. But that is common for thicker toners. But it will still work great with all the other products I add on top of it. The same goes for the makeup I put on top.
I am in love with this toner. On my dry skin it is simply amazing and it is my absolute favorite and it will be a new go to toner when my skin is acting up.
Conclusion
If you have drier skin types this is an absolute winner. It does an amazing job in moisturizing my skin. If you have a more normal skin type you can always use it in your night routine or only use it on areas where your skin is drier (avoiding the T zone).
I give this product 7/7
