My thoughts of Secret Key Rose Floral Softening Toner

I received this in one of my subscription boxes and the Rose version is absolutely one of the versions I would go for. Either that one or aloe, milk or witch hazel, since I have really dry skin.

You get a huge amount. It is a 248 ml bottle and the price couldn’t be any better either.

The packaging is simple and suits the products well. It is not fancy in any way but that is not to be expected for the price you pay. I rather have simple packaging and lower price if I had the opportunity to choose myself.

The toner is clear and has a very watery consistency and it the scent is there but it is not overpowering as some products are. I usually don’t like the scent of roses. To me it mostly smells like old woman (hmmm I know I am getting older, but still that scent to me is just a big no no). The scent of this one doesn’t bother me at all though, instead I find it rather pleasant (for a rose scented product that is).

The toner absorbs rather quick to my skin and doesn’t leave any stickiness or any kind of residue. This makes it perfect to add to a spray bottle and use it as a facial mist as well.

This toners does contain alcohol, so this is not a product I will use during fall or winter. Since I live in Sweden and the climate here really dries my skin out during winter I need to be careful about alcohol in my skincare.

I can’t say that I felt that it did very much to my skin at all, but I do consider it to be a nice toner. If you don’t know why you should use a toner, you can read about that here.

I give this product 4/7
