My thoughts on Skinfood Rice Brightening cleansing oil
As some of you already know I am totally in love with oil cleansers. I feel that they help a lot with making my skin feel nice and clean. I always double cleanse in the evenings but during the mornings I only cleanse once unless I have been using a sleeping mask during the night. Sometimes I use an oil cleanser and sometimes just a foam cleanser depending on season and how dry my skin is.
If you follow the double cleanse method this would be your first cleanser. But if you don’t you can still use this as your only cleanser. If you have dry skin, this type of cleanser might save your day.
The cleanser comes in a plastic bottle with a pump. The pump makes it easy to use the right amount and I do prefer these types of packaging. The bottle itself is nothing fancy but that is not what I was expecting either.
The cleanser is doing a really great job. It really cleanse my face from makeup and since it is an oil cleanser it is great on makeup as well. I usually was off my makeup first though, but sometimes I am simply lazy😊.
The oil is clear and when adding water to it, it turns white like any regular oil cleanser does. After washing it off my skin feels really nice and clean. The oil leaves no residues behind, which is a big win for me.
The Skinfood Rice Brightening cleansing oil is rather strongly scented. I am usually very sensitive to the smell and I do feel that this is too strong, but still it isn’t too bad so it will lower the scores on the oil.
I give this product 6/7
