Packaging
I am really not so happy about this type of packaging, since it is not hygienic at all. You should never dip your fingers in a jar repeatedly since there is a lot of bacteria gathering and that will make the product go bad, or even react on you skin. I always use the back of a brush or a Q-tip when digging in my jar.
My thoughts on Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Concealer Cream
I always seem to struggle with my concealers and I never seem to find one that lives up to my hopes and dream. What I am looking for is a concealer that blend easily, covers my darkness and doesn’t settle in my fine lines (which actually will make them appear more visible than without concealer). So, what it this concealer
It is a thicker concealer (so it is a little harder to blend, but it doesn’t mean that it is hard to blend at all). I really recommend to warm it up between two fingers before applying and it will be softer to work with. Then just pat it in gently under your eyes.
It blends in really nice with my regular skin tone and the shade 02 matches me well.
Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Concealer Cream does cover the darkness under my eyes and helps to brighten my whole face and make it look nice even without adding anything else. I do struggle a little bit with this one settling in my fine lines (which is actually the opposite of what a lot of other people think about this one).
I have this problem with all of my concealers so I keep blending it a couple of times and then it is fine. If I add a primer underneath the result is way better. It, does last me throw-out the day as well, so there is nothing to complain about that.
The product is really pigmented and I would say it has a medium coverage, if you have really dark circles you might want to look for a concealer that is more salmon (pink) toned than this
It is really moisturizing, so if you have dry under eye areas this will probably work great for you. And if you are on the oilier side you might want to use a powder on top or at least a primer under.
I really recommend everyone to try this, it might be a holy grail product for as it is for so many other people.
I give this product 5/7
