This mask is radiance-boosting, nurtures and nourishes dull and dry skin and brings out a beautiful glow.

How to use it

Remove the oil from the sheet mask and massage almost all of it into your skin. Then apply the second step which is the sheet mask and leave it on your face for about 15 minutes. Pat for absorption. Then apply the rest of the oil.

My thoughts on Starskin Camellia 2 step oil sheet mask

I received this in one of my subscription boxes from Lookfantastic

When first reading the description on Starskin camellia 2 step oil sheet mask, I have to say I got a little confused. It says to apply the oil first and the mask second. This just feels so wrong to me since I always learned that the oil goes in the end. This because it helps to lock in the products underneath so it can fully absorb.

But hey I always follow instructions (yes I am one of those people) so I had to try it the way it was supposed to.

There really is a lot of oil in the packaging so be sure not to overdo it when applying it. One can always save some for other times. When applying the oil I do feel that it is rather thick and my mind keep telling me, you are doing this the wrong way. Stop stop stop. But hey nooo, I am listening and following instructions.

So after applying the oil it is time for the sheet mask.

I am a sucker for sheet masks and I do find them to be the best way of getting my skin in shape whenever there is something wrong going on.

The mask is easy to fold out and has a good fit, even for my large eyes. I do have to cut the eyes open on a lot of sheet masks but not in this case. I do find it rather hard to walk around with the mask on since I do have an oil underneath. The oil causes the mask to slide some. So I would recommend you laying down when using this.

After removing Starskin camellia 2 step oil sheet mask my skin feels really amazing. My skin feels super moisturized (and not in a super bad oily way). I would love to try this mask on several occasions but since it is rather expensive I probably wont buy it again.

As for the results

The claim of anti-aging is impossible to say since I don’t know exactly how my skin would have looked if I didn’t use it. And to be honest there really is no quick fix for aging that doesn’t concern a knife.

As for bringing a glow to my face, well yes since I add oil onto my face, but I really cant say it did anything on that part the day after. If you have really dry skin and need help with that this mask is amazing for that purpose. (Remember that my skin is super dry).

But as for the other claims there really is no way for me to say.

I give this product 5/7
