My thoughts on Steve Laurant red dress lip gloss

I received this in one of my Glossyboxes and normally strong red is not a color I would go for. I do love a strong lip color but mostly on others and not on me. But I can say if I was to choose a red lip color this is a really pretty one.

The packaging is nice, there are some questions about the text on the packaging. The one I received says Steve Lavrant and on their webpage the products I found had the text Laurant. A reader of mine on Instagram was kind to tell me that she found the text Lavrant on their website as well. And I looked as well and I found the same, so there is probably just a change in their font.

Other than that, the package is nice, it is a normal tube with a rose gold lid. The applicator is a doe foot and it is easy to use.

The lip gloss is highly pigmented and feels really moisturizing on my lips. Since it is a lipgloss it does feel a little sticky on the lips. Just as a normal lip gloss does. It doesn’t bleed which is a big plus. I do find it really annoying when you use a strong colored lip and it starts bleeding in your lines. You could use a primer or a lip liner if this happens to you.

It is scented, and I do think it smells coconuts (according to my nose).

The lasting power is that of a normal lip gloss. It will transfer.
