My thoughts on The body shop lip juicer shade Strawberry, Pomegranate & Aloe
I received one of these in one of my Glossyboxes and I was really looking forward in trying it out.
The shade I received was Strawberry, Pomegranate & Aloe and is a color that I would definitely choose on my own.
These lip juicers are like a tinted lip balm and according to me they are more tint than balm. I do have dry lips and I use lip balms all the time, but this is not the one I reach for when I need to moisture my lips. I do love the idea though. Instead this is the one I go for when leaving the house and need something that looks quite natural.
Packaging is fun and makes one happy, but I do not find the packaging very clever though. I only see the problems in the long run when the tip is gone from the product and you will not have a simple way to apply the product to one’s lips. Instead there will probably be finger dipping instead. Of course one can always bring a brush and the hygienic problems with finger dipping is long gone.
The product is scented but not too much. Usually I have huge problems with products being scented, but this is the type of product when it doesn’t bother me at all.
