How to use it
Take a small amount into your hands and add some water, the gel starts to foam up and you get a thick lather that you wash yourself with.
My thoughts on The Rituals of Sakuras sensational foaming shower gel
I actually received this one from a friend who couldn’t stand the scent of it. So of course, I was looking forward in trying it out😊.
She wasn’t wrong about the smell. I also think it is way too strong and it is not a scent I enjoy at all. Sadly, I am way to cheap to throw stuff away (if my skin can handle the product that is), so I will use all of it but I won’t smile doing it.
A lot of people love the smell of all Rituals products but I seldom do. I do feel they use way too much perfume but I guess that is consistent with all their products. If you know that you are sensitive to smells I wouldn’t recommend this brand for you.
As a body wash, the product is weird. It feels luxurious on my skin but I am really not sure how well it cleanses. My skin doesn’t feel dry after using it which is really great (I have super dry skin) but it doesn’t feel very moisturized either. Somewhere in between I would say.
The Rituals of Sakuras sensational foaming shower gel comes out as a gel, but when adding some water, it foams up (rather quick). The foam is super soft and feels more like shaving cream than body wash.
I am somewhat torn between liking it and really not liking it. The scent is really taking it down my scale. But I do feel it does a nice job in cleaning my skin.
I give this product 3/7
